Bu Tea Den was supposed to be a two-month popup. That was a year ago.

Jazz nights, burlesque, mahjong, IndusTEA, art shows, poetry, DJs, trashART, birthdays. People kept coming back. The end date kept not arriving. Severin and Nat kept showing up on Fridays after their day jobs.

May 1st we celebrate. Free entry with RSVP.

Bu Tea Den is the permanent home of Paisley ID. The AFTMs (Automated Fortune Telling Machines) are repurposed ATMs that use numerology and chakra theory to print a personalized fortune ticket. Worth the visit on its own. Bring someone who hasn’t seen it.
