Bu Tea Den presents:
A warehouse turned tea house, wrapped around an art installation where the ATMs dispense fortunes instead of twenties. Nobody checks the time.
Interactive art you can actually touch. Soft red lanterns. Tea brewing, always, and seats you sink into and forget to get up from.
The Den is a room for putting the phone down. Come with old friends, leave with new ones. That's the whole idea.
It's a small room and we like it that way.
The space is also available privately: sound baths, mahjong, tea sittings, art openings, jazz, cabaret, standup, poetry readings. Tell us what you have in mind.

Severin builds the fortune machines, retired ATM shells that print fortunes.
We both have day jobs. The Den runs on our free time, Fridays and weekends, by RSVP only.
A year ago we opened a door in a warehouse for a two-month pop-up and hoped somebody would show up. They did. So we stayed.
After a couple years of festivals, street fairs, and events, the Den is now home for Paisley ID's Automated Fortune Telling Machines.
Repurposed ATM shells that print fortune tickets and generate a paisley energy portrait for every guest. Each paisley is added in real time to the Aquarium, a projection wall across the room where paisleys swim and interact with the others created through the night.
