We run a ~20-person tea lounge in Los Angeles. To keep the lights on and get people in the door, we use a handful of tools that collect data. Here's exactly which ones and what they do.

what we collect

Email and name when you subscribe to the newsletter. Stored in MailerLite. We send roughly one email a month.
Page views and browsing data via Google Analytics on the Humanitix ticketing flow (ID: G-9GXHV1YHYB). Humanitix sets this up on their side.
Page views and events via Meta Pixel on the rest of the site (ID: 753793340580234). Meta uses this to show our ads to people who've visited buteaden.com.
Ticket purchases go through Humanitix, which has its own privacy policy at humanitix.com.

We don't sell data. We don't share it with anyone other than the services listed above.

how to opt out

Email: every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
Meta ads: facebook.com/ads/preferences lets you control ad personalization.
Google Analytics: the Google Analytics Opt-out browser extension works. Most browsers' Do Not Track settings are also respected.
Everything else: email contact@buteaden.com and we'll delete what we have.
